1-99 Fishing Guide

The Ultimate Fishing Guide
(This Guide Shows Various Methods of Getting 99 Fishing, Heres how I Did it:


Use any method until you can start fishing trout, fish trout and salmon at barbarian village with a fly fishing rod and feathers, once able to go to shilo village - after completing the quest "Shilo Village" head to there where you will be able to bank your fish, do this until 85 fish, then head to the living rock caverns and fish cavefish with a normal rod and normal bait until level 90, when your 90 buy living minerals and bring a normal rod, fish rocktails until 99, happy making 30m :)

Introduction
Welcome to my 1-99 Fishing Guide! With this guide you will learn the fastest way possible to reach level 99 in Fishing. Using these methods described in this guide I reached level 99 Fishing in four weeks(11-12hrs each day ftw). You will also learn a few other methods to achieve level 99 in the fastest way possible while still making a nice profit! Enjoy and good luck!

Items you will need to begin with
-Patience (Fishing isn't one of the fastest skills in the game)
-1 Crayfish Cage
-1 Fishing Rod
-250 Fishing Bait
-1 Fly Fishing Rod
-10k Feathers to start off (If you have more money then buy more feathers. I suggest not to buy more than 10k Feathers at a time incase you change your mind)

Hurry along to the Grand Exchange and purchase these items. Once that is sorted out bank ALL of your items except for the Crayfish Cage, your 250 units of fishing bait and your 1 Fishing Rod. Once you have those 3 Items in your inventory, Head down to Lumbridge. 

Levels 1-5/10

Since the update of the new Tutorial, Crayfish have been introduced. These fish are in fact faster than Shrimp. So head down to the Crayfish fishing location here:


Method:
1-Click the spot
2-Wait for your inventory to get full (Don't worry about the fishing rod and bait taking up extra space)
3-When your inventory is full
a. Run to the general store
b. Sell your fish
c. Start running back to the spot
d. Drop the gold from the fish along the way back to the spot
4. Repeat the steps above as needed. You may leave this spot at level 5, but I strongly recommend staying here until level 10. 

Note: Level 1-10 should take no more than a few minutes.

Levels 5/10-20~
That wasn't so hard now was it? Now that you reached level 10 Fishing (or 5) you can start Ocean Bait Fishing. Start running to Draynor to the Bait fishing spot. Drop your Crayfish Cage along the way. The location is here: 


Method:
1. Right click the fishing spot
2. Select "Bait-Fishing Spot"
3. Wait until your inventory is full
4. When your inventory is full
a. Run to Draynor Bank
b. Deposit your fish
c. Run back to the fishing spot
5. Repeat steps 1-5

You can fish here until level 20 or until all your bait is finished. I suggest staying here until no more than level 22. Leaving to the next location at level 20 is fine.

F2P Levels 20-99

Unfortunately I'm only am going to give one method for free players level 20 or higher in Fishing. The reason for this is because making money by fishing for F2P players is a huge waste of time. If your F2P and need money, go cut yews. However, free players that wish to gain fast fishing xp can try this method.

If you haven't already, bank your items from Draynor and withdraw 1 Fly Fishing Rod and around 10k feathers. (Don't withdraw more than 10k incase you die). Head to the Barbarian Village Fly Fishing Spot here: 


Method: 
1. Hop to World 1
2. Fish a load of Fish
3. When you are full
a. You may walk north
b. Bank at Edgeville
c. Walk South
d. Repeat steps 2-3
4. Or you can do the faster way and
a. Start dropping your fish
b. While Dropping type in free raws over and over
c. Continue dropping
d. If someone trades you give them as many fish as you can
e. keep dropping if necessary 
f. Repeat steps 2 & 4

Alternate Method 
If you don't care about banking and don't like dropping try this.
Go Here: 

1. Fish at the lumbridge Fly Fishing spot
2. When you are full run to the general store following the route shown. 
3. Sell your fish as quickly as you can
4. Run back to the fishing spot
5. Drop your gold on your way back if you wish
6. Repeat steps 1-6

Members: Levels 20-68/70/99
Requirements: Must have completed Shilo Village Quest

Head to shilo via Cart or Walking. The Fishing Spots can be in these locations: 
 
Note: These spots change VERY frequently. Stick to the spots south closest to bank and by the bridge if you can.

Method:
1. Withdraw your Fly Fishing Rod and feathers
2. Go Fish (I figure you should know this by now)
3. Go Bank(look above)
4. Repeat 2-4

Shilo Tips
1. You will average 30-38k xp/hr here depending mainly on your fishing level.
2. If you run short on feathers buy some at the fishing shop. If you dont have money note your fish and sell to the fishing shop in Shilo. Buy back feathers.
3. World 22 is the Shilo Fishing Player made guild CC- "w22 fish"

Should I stay?
Skillers are the only players that should stay here until level 99 to ensure fastest xp. If you are lazy with paying concentration stay here at Shilo Village until level 99. You do not want to try Barbarian Heavy Rod Fishing if you can't concentrate. If you are here for making money fish here until 68 or so. Then go fish monks at Piscatoris Fishing Colony. (I will not go too in-depth with this but if you are here for efficient money fish monks as soon as you can for decent xp/money). If you think you can handle it and want the great fishing xp (40-55k xp/hr) along with pretty nice xp bonuses (1.1m str and agility xp from lvl 70-99 fishing and 1.5m cooking xp from lvl 70-99 fishing) then read on for the Barbarian Heavy Rod guide.

Levels 70-99 BARB FISHING FTW!

This is overall my favorite form of fishing. You will receive excellent fishing xp (40k/hr at lvl 70, 55k/hr at lvl 99) and decent strength, agility and cooking xp! You never need to bank. You can get lvl 70-99 with just 25 feathers!

BEFORE YOU START:
You must have these stats or bax falls will be a waste of time
70 Fishing
45 Strength
45 Agility
Don't ask why you need these stats. You need them and thats that.

First, rub your games necklace to Barbarian outpost and go here(bring 1 knife and 25 feathers to begin):


If you don't already have a Barbarian Rod talk to Otto and ask about fishing. He will then tell you to look under his bed. Get the rod and go fish.

Your inventory should look like this at first: 


After you fish a load it should look like this:

Organize your fish in a similar way. This will help speed up the cutting process. (Note: the only thing you have to worry about organizing is the last 2 rows. and the fish on top of the knife)

Now you will have to be self-sufficient and make your own bait. Cut the fish up! =) To do so click the knife then click the fish under it. Repeat this as fast as you can. Do the same for the fish on the top. Now move the knife to the left 1 slot and cut the fish under there. Drop your offcuts (you may fish with offcuts if you are low on bait. Otherwise, drop the offcuts.)

-Listen to music
-Watch a movie on the side
-Fish at World 22 for Shilo or Baxtarian Falls
-Don't give up!

Merchanting in Runescape – Part 1

Hello everybody. I have decided to do my first post on merchanting, and various discussions that tends to come about with merchanting.  This guide, if you will, will have 4-5 components that will be released weekly.  The first one to be released is about merchanting clans.

This post will cover the following:

• How merchanting clan’s work.
• How to invest in an appropriate merchanting clan.
• How to start a merchanting clan.

Basic’s on how Merchanting Clans Work:

• Typically merchanting clans are made up of lots of members whom have a reasonably large combined wealth. Merchanting clans essentially act as a singular investment entity. A merchanting clan will all invest in one item, this then creates a falsified demand whilst restricting the supply hence it makes the price of the product go up.

• The majority of merchanting clans will essentially rip off non ranked members. Basically at the top of the food chain, you have the clan leaders. These members buy the items before anyone else, this means they already have around 500 million – 2 billion GPS in stock before others start buying the item. The clan leaders then will notify the members of the item being merchanted. These ‘pawns’ pardon the expression then go to the Grand Exchange in order to buy the item. This then creates a further demand. Once these unranked finally get the item, contemplating the right time to dump the product is crucial. Merchanting clans create the falsified demand when they attempt to sell there product on the Grand Exchange it crashes the item. This means that the clan members whom are not in the inner circle ultimately get destroyed losing huge amounts of money.

How to invest in an appropriate merchanting clan:

• The thing about investing in a merchanting clan is that it is an extremely risky business if you’re not ranked. So how does one play it safe when merchanting an item? Well the truth is playing safe involves dumping the item early.

• Let’s take a quick analysis of the graph above: Now there are two things that went horribly wrong with this merchant, especially if you participated as a ‘pawn’ member in the clan. 1) Jagex did a manual up date, reducing the price of the item being merchanted, hence the double dip rise. 2) The merchanting clan leaders dumped the item, and it completely crashed the item. If you had this item, selling it would be nearly impossible, had you sold early you would have elevated this entire issue.

• The truth is when investing in a merchanting clan you need to be cautious, when you start out, invest smaller amounts of money, because the truth is, you will lose out, and lose out large.

• Alternative solutions; now assuming you invested in this product perhaps 10 million GPS, now, considering they started at 5k each, and rose to 130k rising approximately 25 times. This 10 million GP would turn into 250mil. Now, when the item crashes you contact your local gold seller, and they would most likely buy the 250 million in junk for around 50 dollars. It’s a cheaper alternative to buying gold. Opposed to paying 250 dollars you pay 50 dollars, not half bad.

How to start a merchanting clan:

• Now starting a merchanting clan is no easy task. It involves a lot of hard work. A lot of money and a lot of experience.

• First off: To start an effective merchanting clan, there should be a shared amount of around 3 billion GPS amongst the highest ranks. After this has been achieved which in all honesty isn’t the hardest task to achieve, granted every Tom, Dick and Harry has 500 million gps nowdays (more guides to be released on how to make gold).

• Second thing to do: Get a script/bot that enables you to make 100s of accounts, using macro’s to advertise for the merchanting clan to get a big public following hopefully worth another 500-3 billion GPS.

• Third thing to do: Research. Only certain items can be merchanted, you cannot merchant every item as certain items are 1) controlled by Jagex artificially 2) simply cannot be merchanted due to the quantity.  Let’s look at some items that have been merchanted

Amulets of Accuracy: First how are these items required? From a onetime quest, cannot be made… this means that if a merchanting clan had been consistently sniping these items they would essentially control the entire market, hence controlling price. This item is an example that represents an ideal item to be merchanted. This item, as shown went up fast and hard.

Examples of good items to merchant

• Mystic Items – Semi Rare/easily accessible.
• Amulets of Accuracy
• Orange tree seeds
• Various other rare seeds
• Limproots
• Certain stones.

If you control a powerful merchanting clan you can use items that are seasonally more expensive, for instance dragon arrows go up substantially in the summer as the children begin to play more games…. This means if you control the item before this stage you can charge 10 times the price you normally could, getting the item to this price reasonably quick. The other thing one can do is with an item such as a strength amulet. It is needed by all when pking and just playing in general.

You buy out all the materials required to make this item. Then You buyout the item itself, then you get your bot to craft these items. The merchanting clan that merchanted power amulets did this, making several mil per hour + great xp associated with crafting these items.

Runescape Pure PKer Guide

This Runescape guide will cover how to build a real pure in 3 months:

This guide will explore the following:

• Part 1 will go through: How to make a real PKER that will become your new toy in destroying people in the wilderness.
• Part 2 will go through How to use bots to create an amazing pure.
• Part 3 How to get good drops in bounty/PVP worlds.

First off, when we think about pure’s we often need to contemplate what sort of pure do we want? Do we want a pure strength, range or mage? The truth is modern day Player Killers (PKers) are hybrids.  In today’s pking Tribirds, dominate. Now why you may ask do you need 3 stats to player kill? Well first off, mage acts as what I would call an ‘aider’ it cannot be used by itself. Pure mages are the weakest of the 3 combat trees. No mage pure can get consistent kills. Range is a great skill to have however; it isn’t reliable in getting the high numbers when you need them. For instance you can’t decide to hit high with your crossbow when you want to & in free to play pking, range hits a maximum of around 19, this means that getting a kill is extremely hard. Strength, great overall stat, however, isn’t nearly as quick as range, but has an efficient spec.  When you combine the combination of these stats you get an amazing pker.

Free to Play Best composition: For free to play, the best pures are those that have high range, preferably 99, and high strength. The speed of each range attack is approximately .25 Seconds, if you time the range attack so just as your about to range you use the rune 2 hander you should get a double shock hit. Distancing yourself from the opponent when you hit enables you to do this with ease. F2P ranges/Strengthers dominate regardless of your combat level. Using range by itself will not get consistent kills and relies heavily on luck.

Pay to Play Best compositions: P2P is an interesting one as there are so many different compositions. Turmoil prayer pures with 45 defence (Turmoil Zerkers) tend to dominate the higher levels. Range tankers with 99 range/99 defence and 94 mage  + also do extremely well, however, whenever most people come across a range tanker they will just refuse to fight them, as the chance of a K0 is minimal. This works both ways as the range tanks don’t die often, they don’t get nearly as much kills as say an AGS pure. For the lower levels D Clawer’s are the best in all honesty. Often people argue 75 attack, AGS pures dominate, however, in all my experience this has not been the case. It is the pures with 99 range, strength, 80ish Hp, Barrage and 60 attack that dominate their level tier

Tips in Pay to Pay Pking:

• Wear a phoenix necklace to minimize the destructive power of D claws.
• Have quick prays set to increasing defence by the maximum of your prayer and protection from melee/range
• Don’t wait around the wilderness.
